One-day event specialising in Condition Monitoring, Computerised Maintenance Management, Maintenance Strategy, OEE, training and outsourcing.

The event comprises half day seminars plus a focussed, technical exhibition, consisting of 16 stands. The exhibition is open to both seminar delegates and engineering professionals that just wish to visit the exhibition but are not interested in the seminars.

The inaugural "Chairmans Challenge" Members fishing match
took place on the 29th of October. Those attending enjoyed
hot refreshments served at the peg but this may have lead
to distraction as the fish count was not impressive.

Next year it is intended to promote this event much more
and suggestions for a venue are being requested.

The candidate
Located in an area between the M62 and Birmingham area , the successful candidate will have a proven track record in system sales to UK process industry. Additionally you will have a sound engineering background which will include experienced with vibration analysis and condition monitoring proceedures
The Job
Pruftechnik are leaders in the field of condition monitoring of rotating machines. You will be responsible for the development of sales of their portable and On-line condition monitoring systems across the midlands area of the UK. Talking directly to engineers at all levels in process, manufacturing and maintenance organisations.

EXPERIENCED SALES ENGINEER - UK SOUTH

PRUFTECHNIK LTD. are seeking to recruit an experienced sales engineer to fill a vacant position in the alignment division of its UK sales organisation.
The candidate
Located on the M4 corridor ideally in a central position to allow easy access east or west, the successful candidate will have a proven track record in sales of engineering products and solutions to engineers.
Additionally you will have a sound engineering background having served a recognised apprenticeship in an engineering company. You must be an effective communicator, be confident and a above all be able to demonstrate the necessary sales and engineering track record.
The Job
Pruftechnik are leaders in the field of laser alignment of rotating machines and geometric measurement. You will be responsible for the development of sales of their Laser measurement systems across the southern area of the UK. Talking directly to engineers at all levels in process, manufacturing and maintenance organisations.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Annual General Meeting of the Society will be held
at the AirSpace Conference Centre, Imperial War Museum Duxford, Duxford
Cambridgshire, CB22 4QR on Monday 4th of October 2010 at 10.30 a.m. to transact
the following business:-
1. To receive the Chairman’s report.
2. To receive the Report of the Directors and the Financial Statements for the
year ended 31st March 2010.
3. To re-appoint Messrs Berry & Co as auditors of the Society and authorise the
Council of Management to fix their remuneration
(Resolution No. 1).
4. To elect the Directors. (Resolution No. 2)
